After cutting its teeth on rally stages and race circuits, the Audi five-cylinder engine now features in a selection of our flagship RS models.

Interviews with the first driver to race on Audi’s first five-cylinder engine, Hans Joachim Stuck, and Powertrain Engineering manager, Michael Ganz, reveal what it was like driving and designing this powerful engine. You can also see how this innovation helped the Audi 90 to victory on the track in the IMSA-GTO Series in 1989.
